AWS provides modular and enterprise grade infrastructure. This course provides a step-by-step guide to setting up your platform on AWS. It will walk you through everything from setting up a VPC, to an EC2 cluster and RDS database. It should take around 30 mins to complete.

Course Overview

In this course you'll learn all the components involved in setting up the infrastructure to deploy and sell your applications. We'll specifically be focusing on AWS. You'll learn about all the components invovled including:

  • Networking
  • Compute
  • Database
  • Load Balancer
  • Global Accelerator
  • Object Bucket
  • Storage Configuration

Setting up your platform

You'll dive into setting up the various components required to deploy your apps. We'll walk you through setting up a VPC, compute, and database. This will serve as the platform you can deploy your apps to.

Advanced Load Balancing

By default Opsmaru sets up load-balancing for you out of the box. However if you need more advanced setup we'll walk you through setting up AWS's load balancer. We'll talk about some advantages and when you would want to use AWS's load balancer.

For applications that is latency sensitive there is also the Global Accelerator. We'll show you how to setup global accelerator and discuss when it's good to use the global accelerator.

Operating your platform

We'll walk you through some useful routines that can help you save costs and make sure you get the most out of Opsmaru.
